On Friday, December 12th, Robin Botero officially graduated with his PhD degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. My deepest thanks to Dr. Christina Romagosa (on left) for being there to “hood” Robin on this special day – I was in Peru for a workshop. Robin has been an amazing member of my lab, and the WEC and TCD communities. We look forward to following his career and see him build on the already significant impacts he has had in biodiversity conservation, especially in the Amazon. His work with caimans is well known, as is his engagement with Amazonian communities that rely on natural resources for their livelihoods. Forever a Gator! Congratulations Robin.
